Bringing Korean Culture to UTM
ORIENTATION
Our introduction event at the start of the year with free food! Come out to meet the team behind UTM K-BANG. Find out what we have planned for the year and offer any ideas you may have! There is a GIVEAWAY at the end of the event!
K-POP DANCE WORKSHOP
Learn the latest choreography to your favourite K-pop songs! Taught by our own members, our K-pop dance is a great way to get in that exercise with friends while jamming to your favourite songs. The workshop runs for 3 hours, with the first half for girl groups and the second half for boy groups.
LANGUAGE EXCHANGE
Now is your chance to brush up on all the Korean you've been listening to, or a chance for you, Korean speakers, to practice your English. At Language Exchange, there will be Korean and English learning sessions, so you can learn languages while making friends!
VARIETY NIGHT
Ever want to play the games you see on variety shows or just want to hangout with your friends? This is the event for you! Each night will be based on a Korean variety show like 2 Days 1 Night, Knowing Bros, Master Key, Infinite Challenge, etc. It’s a night to de-stress, relax, and have fun! Details will be announced soon!
RUNNING MAN
Based on the popular Korean TV Show, our Running Man event is all about playing funny games with your friends! We will host games like Name-Tag Chase and Chicken Fight, so compete for your chance to win prizes!
노래방 KARAOKE
Sing your heart out to your favourite ballads, or lift the mood with an upbeat K-pop song! Our 노래방 Karaoke events are a great destressor for you and your friends! So come and sing and enjoy the food!
TALENT SHOWCASE
Love to sing, dance, or play instruments? Love Korean music too? Come out to our Talent Show and perform, or come and enjoy the show that many talented people will put on.
MUKBANG
An event all about food! Mukbang is about eating your favourite Korean dishes with friends. Come out and have a taste of Korean culture!
END OF SEMESTER PARTY
A destressor party before exam time! Come out to enjoy food and music with your friends!
